The Survivor Gala is an annual event hosted by Student Life’s Sexual Civility and Empowerment Program (SCE). Since the inaugural Survivor Gala in 2015, the event has served as an opportunity to celebrate the strength and courage of those healing from sexual violence. The Survivor Gala features student artwork of all mediums, as well as individual and group performances.
The fourth Survivor Gala will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in the Ohio Union Archie Griffin West Ballroom. SCE invites all survivors, friends, family, and allies to join the Buckeye and Columbus communities in raising awareness, showing support, and encouraging healing. Doors open at 6:30pm. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Semi-formal attire is suggested.
